Velvet Taco - Hands down THE BEST taco's I've had in my entire life. If you only eat at one place in all of Dallas, it has to be Velvet Taco. #nomz

Food trucks at Klyde Warren Park - They have food trucks every day from 11am-3pm! There are tons of different options. Above is the delicious sandwich I got from one of the deli trucks!

Mi Cocina - Up-scale Tex-Mex food that is extra tasty with the perfect ambiance for a night out.

HG Supply Company - Go sit at the top!! HG Supply Company has a beautiful balcony and delicious food!

Travel Guide Dallas Texas Sprinkles Cupcake ATM

Steel City Pops - Extra delicious popsicles! They have tons of different fruity and creamy flavors.

Emporium Pies - This place is AMAZING. Their pies are sooo good. There's always a line way out the door, so you know it's good! We got the Smooth Operator and Cherry Bomb but I'm sure every pie is a winner!

Sprinkles/Cupcake ATM - This place is so fun because if you go to Sprinkles after hours, you can get a cupcake from their ATM machine! What a cute and delicious idea!

Paciugo Gelato - Extra tasty gelato! How can you say "no" to fancy ice cream?

Where to Drink:

Travel Guide Dallas Texas The Truck Yard

Truck Yard - A really fun, outdoor beer garden with truck inspired deco, live music on the weekends, and food trucks nightly. Check out their calendar here!

Community Brewery - Super relaxed brewery where you can go on a tour of the brewery or just hang out with live music.

Where to Shop:
North Park Mall - The high-end mall with tons of amazing stores like Free People, Nespresso, Nordstroms, and Pinto Ranch Fine Western Wear (all I'm saying is they have Lucchese Boots...!!).

Highland Park Village - If you want to feel extra fancy, check out the Highland Park Village with stores like Chanel, Hermes, and Jimmy Choo.

Bishop Arts Distract - Cute boutiques, more on this below!

What to do:

Travel Guide Dallas Texas Klyde Warren Park

Klyde Warren Park - The park is such a fun place to go. It has fountains for kids to play in, tons of food trucks for a nice picnic with friends, and is pet-friendly. There's also a fancy little restaurant, music, and fitness classes.

The Sixth Floor J. F. Kennedy Memorial Museum - Really great museum about the history of the former president in the same location, Dealey Plaza, where the president was assassinated.

Bishops Arts District - Shop, eat, walk around. What more could you want? (Kidding...mostly.) But there are tons of shops and restaurants!

Transportation:

Renting a car - Dallas is pretty spread out so you'll likely need a car to get around.

Uber - If you're staying downtown, you can get by without a car but may want to catch an Uber to go to restaurants or activities that aren't in downtown Dallas.

Do you have any suggestions for things to do in Dallas?

Thanks for reading!
