How to Organize Your Shoes

Confession: I have a slight shoe obsession. Since I have SO MANY SHOES I needed to find a system to organize them without driving me nuts. Some people like to put their shoes in a mud room but I like having my shoes in my closet so I can coordinate my outfits. After searching for tons of different shoe organization units I finally found the perfect, budget friendly shoe organizers! Behold!

How to Organize Your Shoes

1. These organizers from Target are game-changers, and are only $10 each!! You can buy multiple units to stack along the walls, or even stack on top of each other.

2. Put seasonally-inappropriate shoes away. If it's summer, put your winter boots away so they aren't taking up precious real estate!

3. Stack your shoes if they can be stacked! This is especially useful for flats and sandals!

4. For heels, put them on the top row with one shoe facing in and the other shoes facing the opposite way (see the top row of shoes above). It will greatly increase the space of the row.

5. Donate unworn shoes that are still in good shape. If you haven't worn them in over a year, be honest with yourself, it's time to let them go. If they're falling apart, it may also be time to say good-bye and throw them away.

Do you have any other shoe organizing tips? I'd love to hear them!

Thanks for reading!
